I worked on developing a new version of a React UI library for a leading US tech giant. It is a fork of an open-source project, and I worked on modules related to creating charts, data tables, input elements, skeleton loaders and other components (from scratch or by customizing other libraries). I managed the build and deployment pipeline (Amazon EKS), and led the team in this exercise. Later I oversaw the migration of three apps from the earlier version to the new one.

The Amazon Home Services (AHS) team provides a platform for service providers to offer their services to customers on the amazon.com site. I worked on the front-end for the app technicians use to respond to customer requests for estimates, confirm appointments once orders are raised, check details of upcoming jobs and complete jobs. The work involved development of the (custom) CSS+JS framework the app uses (which includes sufficiently complex UI widgets). I’ve worked on SEO for AHS as well.

• Played an important role in launching a new training track on mobile web related frameworks, mainly PhoneGap and Sencha Touch. Was involved in detailing its scope, artifacts creation, review, course delivery and assessments. • Delivered 100+ trainings on various web and mobile technologies (Java, Angular JS (v1), JavaScript, jQuery, Require, Underscore, Lodash, Ext JS, Sencha Touch, PhoneGap, Android) • Content development (for various courses) including curriculum, session plan, presentations, guides for hands-on practice, code demonstrations, assessments etc. Focus on quality of content, adhering to timelines and laid-out processes at the same time. • Developed a tool to manage trainings and generate reports – The tool maintains details of trainings conducted by the team and generates reports that are used by senior management to monitor training progress and make training projections.
